As part of its Silver Wheel insurance plan for antique cars, Leclerc has paid tribute to master restorer Edouard Rodrigue from Sherbrooke, by presenting him the third Silver Wheel master restorer award.

Last August 19th, a ceremony commemorating his latest project : the 1957 Chrysler 300c Ghia Concept car originally designed by the legendary Virgil Exner.

Mr. Rodrigue received a commemorative plaque from Ms. Lucie Fréchette, president of Leclerc Insurance who underlined his life-long achievements : 29 antique vehicles that were given new life, thanks to the man’s boundless passion for, and dedication to, high-end restoration work.

Ms Fréchette singled out Mr. Rodrigue’s latest project (the 1957 Chrysler 300c Concept car) completed over several years : « A shining example, she said, of the many qualities, skills and determination required to re-create integrally this rarest of automotive specimens from archival documents. »
