How well do you know your RV

Whether you are a new RV enthusiast or a veteran, there is so much to know and master about a trailer or a motorhome that it may be wise to give yourself the necessary means to improve your level of knowledge.

If you are not already aware, the Fédération québécoise de camping et de caravanning (FQCC) provides a training platform (French only), that offers a wealth of information through virtual or face-to-face classes.

We invite you to check out all they have to offer. In the meantime, here is an overview of some of the classes.

Start the season well with the “spring routine”

The “spring routine” (routine printanière) training teaches you how to get your RV back in service to ensure a pleasant and safe camping season.

You will find out how to do minor inspections and repairs yourself, as well as the occasional maintenance of certain exterior components of your RV (roof, seals, etc.). The inspection of the roof and seals is a best practice to prevent gradual water infiltrations that are not covered by insurance.

Safety first thanks to the “driving course”

The driving course, virtual or face-to-face, will teach you safe practices in RV driving.  It will teach you the verification steps and how to master the particularities of the different maneuvers in an RV as well as command gestures.

Note that the face-to-face formula includes 8 hours of theory in the classroom and 4 hours of one-on-one practical training with an instructor, to be planned according to your availability. Also, a successful course entitles you to a 5% discount on your AVIVA RV premium.

A RANGE OF COURSES

Other courses that might interest you:

  • RV plumbing network
  • RV electricity network
  • Propane gas system
  • Etc.

We invite you to discover the FQCC training platform without delay!
