Are you the type to put a lot of time and energy on your Christmas tree? And are you also among those who, as soon as Halloween is over, are already in “holiday prep” mode?

Although many of us are proud of our own tree decorating skills, with trees that often take up half of our living rooms, we certainly would be impressed by the gigantic Christmas trees that are the pride of many big cities in the world.  Obviously, we all know the one at Rockefeller Center in New York, but we can say that the latter has competition.

We will show you trees from around the world that are true works of art.  The first is a several creations of the famous Christmas tree from the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon in Rio de Janeiro.

This is a floating Christmas tree that stretches more than 85 meters towards the sky and floats on the sea lit by more than three million lights!  Awesome, isn’t it?

Constitution Square (Zócalo) – Mexico City

Let’s continue onto Mexico City which also knows how to impress thanks to the different versions of its tree in Constitution Square (Zócalo).

Puerta del Sol – Madrid

Now across the Atlantic to Madrid, more specifically to Puerta del Sol, to discover trees that really shine.

Red Square – Moscow

Moscow is also sure to impress you with its famous Red Square Christmas tree.

London and Strasbourg

And to end our discovery of the most majestic Christmas trees in the world, let’s take a short hop to London (Trafalgar Square) and finally Strasbourg (Place Kleber) in France.
